What The Mind of Man Can Conceive

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, It can achieve."
-- Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill, one of the earliest success writers, lived from October 25, 1883 to November 8, 1970. He captured the essence of all success which is the power of belief. He lived through two world wars, depression and certainly many personal challenges. I read his "Think and Grow Rich," "Keys to Positive Thinking" and "You Can Work Your Own Miracles." Long before the "The Secret" came out or anybody spoke about the "law of attraction" Dr. Hill demonstrated in his own life a deep faith in God.

He accepted an assignment from Andrew Carnegie to interview and observe hundreds of successful business men, inventors and clergy of his time. Based on his own research and experiences he came to the conclusion that success is neither luck or many talents but rather belief in oneself and others and hard work. The principles he talks about in his books and lectures are eternal principles and can be applied by anybody who wants to live an extra-ordinary life.

On the website of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, you can find the seventeen principles his teachings are based on, the first one is to have a definiteness of purpose.

The best thing anybody can do during these trying times is to learn and to expand their mind and look up to those who left a legacy of greatness so they can keep a positive mind and a vision beyond their everyday reality.

This is why I love the TEAM because it is made up of men and women who are not satisfied with the status quo. But they are not complaining about it but rather grow and work together to do something about it.
