How to Talk to Your Subconscious Mind?

The purpose of this blog entry is to learn about accessing your subconscious mind. Our mind has two faculties: the conscious part which is responsible for logic and reasoning. All planning and actions are coming from our conscious mind. The subconscious function of the mind is directing all involuntary actions like our heart beat, blood flow, digestion, etc. All those tasks are done automatically.

We make decisions with our conscious mind but emotion, thoughts, memories and beliefs are all stored in the subconscious mind.

Ralph Waldo Emerson
“The secret is the answer to all that has been all this is and all that will be.”

We all want to know WHO WE ARE and WHAT IS MY PUPOSE? We can put these kinds of questions to our subconscious mind. It may take a while and sometimes an amazing journey to find the answers to those questions.

Here, I want to introduce a method of “talking” to our body (subconscious mind)  in order to find answers in general or to let go of unwanted emotions and memories.

Many teachers have been using the teachings of the Law of Attraction. I belief though, that many of us have been missing out on the blessings of the LOA by being burdened by our past, heavy memories, unprocessed emotions, and general energetic junk.

The reason we can access the subconscious mind is that we are spiritual beings, created of energy. That energy expresses itself in different forms of vibrations or frequencies. Scientists are now able to measure those waves just like sound waves, light waves, or electrical currents. When we go to the atomic level we are protons, neutrons, and electrons. Each element of nature has its own vibration; the different proportions of these three components make different types of atoms or elements as defined by the periodic table. The lighter the element (like gaseous) the more space is registered in between the protons, neutrons, etc.

When you use the techniques mentioned in this blog, you are addressing your body at the energy level, picking up invisible frequencies. The only way the body can answer is through YES or NO questions. The first method I like to introduce is Muscle Testing, also called kinesiology.

"Kinesiology" means the science of movement. Applied Kinesiology was the name given to muscle isolation techniques developed by U.S. chiropractor Dr. George Goodhart from Detroit, Michigan.

Rather than explaining how to do muscle testing, I like to direct you to watch the short video:

The concept behind muscle testing is to help the body, mind and spirit to become strong, or to reveal what is hindering us to be that way. The body will respond to muscle testing if anything enters the environment of the body which may cause imbalance to the functions of it.

Another method is working with the pendulum also called divining.  It can be used for the same purpose. Although, it takes more practice.  In any case, our mind has to be very calm and clear, in order to get accurate answers. Here is another link about the pendulum: http://healing.about.com/cs/tools/ht/How_pendulums.htm or you can also watch this short video:

With the above healing tools we can step forward to get to know ourselves better.  Once we are free of our past, releasing memories and suffering, we can step into the future with greater confidence and vigor.

Benefits of Water Therapy

BENEFITS OF WATER THERAPY

A friend of mine passed this article on to me a few days ago on a sheet of copied paper. He said it was circulating at the hospital he works.  I thought it to be of great value; that’s why I am printing it here in full:

DRINK WATER ON EMPTY STOMACH

It is popular in Japan today to drink water immediately after waking up every morning. Furthermore, scientific tests have proven its value.

We publish below a description of use of water for our readers. For old and serious diseases as well as modern illnesses the water treatment had been found successful by a Japanese medical society as a 100% cure for the following diseases:

Headache, body ache, heart system, arthritis, fast heart beat, epilepsy, excess fatness, bronchitis asthma, TB, meningitis, kidney and urine diseases, vomiting, gastritis, diarrhea, piles, diabetes, constipation, all eye diseases, womb, cancer and menstrual disorders, ear, nose and throat diseases.

METHOD OF TREATMENT:
1. As you wake up in the morning before brushing teeth, drink 4 x 160ml glasses of water.
2. Brush and clean the mouth but do not eat or drink anything for 45 minutes.
3. After 45 minutes you may eat and drink as normal.
4. After 15 minutes of breakfast, lunch and dinner do not eat or drink anything for 2 hours.
5. Those who are old or sick and are unable to drink 4 glasses of water at the beginning may commence by taking little water and gradually increase it to 4 glasses per day.
6. The above method of treatment will cure diseases of the sick and others can enjoy a healthy life.

The following list gives the number of days of treatment required to cure/control/reduce main diseases:
1. High Blood Pressure (30 days)
2. Gastric (10 days)
3. Diabetes (30 days)
4. Constipation (10 days)
5. Cancer (180 days)
6. TB (90 days)
7. Arthritis patients should follow the above treatment only for 3 days in the 1st week, and from 2nd week onwards – daily.

Water and Arthritis

Water does many things for our body. But for someone suffering from arthritis, one of the most important tasks H20 has is lubing up joints for maximum and pain-free movement. Arthritis, meaning "joint inflammation" is the general term for many sub-forms of the disease. There is rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis as well as gout, but these are just a few of the about 100 forms. About 43 million Americans suffer from one form or another.

Arthritis, as well as osteoporosis, is linked with fluoride in public drinking water systems. A more debilitating disease with similar symptoms of arthritis is skeletal fluorosis. A reverse osmosis filter installed in the home and drinking bottled water when away from home is one way to ensure not being exposed to this element.

Since the arthritis pain and stiffness is a result of joints not being cushioned, water can aid in this by helping to lubricate and provide padding for these areas. Also, this is a result of increased friction between the cartilage surfaces. When the joints move, a suction pulls water from the bone marrow to the joint cavity-- if there is available water. If there is not enough water, they joints can't glide as they should. So, an increased water intake and being hydrated can keep that water supply there-- and reduce some of the pain. Also, with gout, it can also remove uric acid and other toxins. So in essence, in areas where there is pain, it is almost as if the body is letting you know there is a drought,

This treatment method has no side effects, however at the commencement of treatment you may have to urinate a few times.

It is better if we continue this and make this procedure as a routine work in our life. Drink Water and Stay healthy and Active.

This makes sense…The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals not cold water. Maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!! Nothing to lose, everything to gain...

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.

It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion.

Once this 'sludge' reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks:
• Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting,
• Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
• You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.
• Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.
• 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
• Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know the better chance we could survive...

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to everyone they know, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fereydoon_Batmanghelidj Your Body's Many Cries for Water

I have read Dr. Batmanghelidj's book many years ago and forgotten about his advice.  He had cured many of his patients with water only.  It makes sense since man's body is almost 80-90% water (see picture above).
Dr. B.'s advice:  "Use 1/4 tsp. of sea salt for every quart of water you drink.  Use a good sea salt, one with at least 80 minerals,  liberally with food.  As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt.  Some put it in their  water, some lick it off their hand, some season their foods after cooking. It's up to you. Make sure you take potassium daily (banana, orange juice, etc)."

Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you care about; I hope this information will be helpful to you and others.

How to Create World Peace?

Have you ever considered how world peace is going to take place?

According to Wikipedia world peace is an ideal of freedom, peace, and happiness among and within all nations and/or peoples. World peace is a Utopian idea of planetary non-violence by which nations willingly cooperate, either voluntarily or by virtue of a system of governance that prevents warfare. Although the term is sometimes used to refer to a cessation of all hostility among all individuals, world peace more commonly refers to a permanent end to global and regional wars with future conflicts resolved through nonviolent means.

Surrounding the anniversary of the 9/11 event there have been many debates about terrorism, violence and other atrocities, and how we ever can get away with it. I believe that many people have good intentions, and even the politicians have peace as a noble goal.

“The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.”

Albert Einstein (1879-1955), Jewish-German-Swiss-Austrian-American Physicist.

The problem is that war (opposite of peace) was not created on the physical plane. The consciousness that created war was that of jealousy, anger, conflict and fear. Unless we can overcome these negative emotions we will never be able to create peace on earth.

It started with the spiritual fall of Eve and her premature unity with Adam. Rather than becoming mature first, our first human ancestors disobeyed God and never reached their full potential of heart. This immaturity became more complicated and magnified over the ages where greed, hatred, control over land and people took center stage, rather than spiritual growth and responsibility.  It is crucial for all women to recognize their position and let go of guilt and inferiority, and for men to practice forgiveness and allow women to take their proper place in the home.  It doesn’t help us at all to blame and accuse each other for past mistake (which we inherited from our ancestors).  Rather, we have to learn to create love, and gratitude, within ourselves as individuals and on that base create unity within the family with mutual respect and accepting each other for who we are in the sight of God, our creator.  God doesn’t judge us for our past; he has only grace and mercy for all of us.

"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Holy Bible ~~ John 14:27

I am sure that I am not he only one who can see a solution for peace but it is not a matter of peace talks, or world leaders deciding how to make it right.  Let's face it, we are a blame society.  And that's just within one country.  We all know that blaming the other person just doesn't work.  With some heartistic (including our heart to make decisions) awareness and taking responsibility, to apply the principles of peace which are love, gratitude, kindness, tolerance and forgiveness, we all can make a difference in our everyday life, after all,  peace is a state of mind, not something which can be achieved.  For more heart-centered living and to discover your heart's intelligence, check out: http://www.heartmath.org/.

Maybe you have heard of the 100th monkey phenomena.
The story goes like this: The 100th monkey principle stems from the story about the Japanese Islands, where researchers saw one very talented and brilliant young female (imagine that) monkey who learned how to wash the sand off her sweet potatoes, and then she taught it to her young.
After a certain number of monkeys (not exactly 100, but it's hard to pinpoint) had learned to wash their potatoes in the stream, the researchers began to see monkeys on other islands who had no communication with the original batch of monkeys begin to wash their potatoes before eating.

There is a theory that after so many people learn a concept, that it is embedded in the morphogenetic field, a level of Universal Consciousness above our perception, but available to all of us. Once that knowledge is in the M(onkey) field, it becomes "Common Knowledge" and no longer has to be struggled with. It's just "known" They call it the "100th Monkey" principle.

It may not be exactly 100 monkeys, but the principle remains the same. If there is only a limited amount of people aware of such an activity than nothing will happen. Once a certain critical mass has been reached, this awareness can be picked up by almost anyone.

“By applying proven technologies of the Unified Field to all areas of society, we can eradicate violence, disease, and poverty” — Dr. John Hagelin

John Hagelin, PhD, is the Director of Science, Technology and Public Policy at Maharishi University of Management, and Minister of Science and Technology of the Global Country of World Peace. He is also the Founder of the United States Peace Government.

There are many individuals who are promoting peace today. I found one website which suggests a Peace Day on November 17.

Here is a web page with all kinds of interesting information where you can register peace events: http://www.worldpeacenewsletter.com/.

Here is a link to the Middle East Peace Initiative: dealing mostly with the Middle East issues; and the link to the World Peace Day 2010.

When a person chooses to live in integrity, he is at peace with his own heart and mind.

More than depending on an organization we all can be the 100th monkey who can take the initiative to create peace. Because peace starts on the internal level, we all can be peacemakers. If we can teach our children peace principles they will grow up to be adults who are tolerant, kind and respectful to others. We have to check ourselves constantly to detect resentment, anger, and hostility and let go of these kinds of negative emotions. If terrorism is an issue, we have to consider our own inner fears of judgment and criticism of others.

The lesson for all of us to learn here on earth is to love, pure and simple. We are here to learn to love, starting in the family, in an unconditional way. This can easily translate into loving all people, disregarding of their religion, country, or ethnic background. I believe it’s really one of the most important reasons we are here on this earth; to learn to develop this kind of love.

What we are really looking for is the primary shift of consciousness that more and more people will become aware of this new reality and its heart-centered values.

Is this what some of us are expecting to happen in 2012?

The Power of Affirmations

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

I have been practicing affirmations off and on for the last 20 years. They inspire me and motivate me for a while. When the movie The Secret came out, I got a new boost. Ah, I have to add some emotions, and then visualize the outcome I want.

The problem with affirmations is that you get this back talk in your mind, saying: yah, you are not going to do it, you have never done that, you can’t do that, etc. In other word your brain doesn’t believe these positive statements. That argument in my mind always bothered me and in the end, I discontinued the affirmations because I got tired of the opposition of my mind.

What are affirmations? They are positive statements and/or words which we repeat over and over in order to overwrite our subconscious mind.

Why do we need affirmations? Our subconscious mind has been programmed all of our lives with beliefs, opinions, statements by parents, teachers and just about anybody. Every thought, every feeling and everything in between has been recorded to the very detail. When we go along with these beliefs and opinions, there is no disturbance.

But watch out when you come with a positive statement like: I am powerful, I am rich, I am worthy, etc. Your ego stands at the door of your subconscious mind and will tell you right away, NO, that is not so. By the law of attraction, anything positive is first rejected because most of the programming we received is negative. The affirmation may work for you, if you are very persistent and repeat these positive words over and over for a very long time. Most people don’t have the tenacity to keep up with it.

I was therefore very inspired when I heard a message by a guy named Noah St. John who figured out a way of how to go around the resistance of the subconscious mind. I listened to an interview with him, and he suggested, to start your affirmations with questions like: Why am I so blessed; why am I so rich; why am I so peaceful? Instead of calling them affirmations he calls them afformations. Try it, asking these kind of questions, and you’ll always get a positive answer. Noah explains that the mind is a goal seeking essence of our humanness and will look for the answer. In fact, these kind of questions go straight to the subconscious mind, kind of finding a back door to where the ego doesn’t pay attention. The subconscious mind has unlimited resources and gets activated by asking the right kind of questions. It even goes deeper and accesses the total universal knowledge.

The power of the subconscious mind cannot be accessed by confronting the ego. Obviously when you hit the ego head-on, all positive self-talk or affirmations will be rejected. The conscious mind will reason with you and not accept any of your new mind-set at first. I have read many different approaches of accessing your subconscious mind like listening to subliminal recordings, working with the pendulum, doing muscle testing through PsychKhypnosis, dream interpretations, meditation, or the relaxation method.

It is crucial for us to find a way to access our subconscious mind power, so far, we only use 10%.
Only 10%!!!
Can you imagine what would happen if you could access the remaining 90%?  -- The results would be incredible.

Years ago I read a book called The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Dr. Joseph Murphy. I must have read it 3-4 times since and every time I get really excited about the content and the possibilities it promises. I hope and pray that through the new questioning method of the afformations I can explore a whole new world. How about it?
