Wake Up America - God Only Knows

There is no doubt in my mind that we are governed by natural or spiritual laws. In the same way I have learned through the teaching of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon that God has been working through a Historyof Restoration which brings us now into the Last Days.

Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”
~ Matt 24:3-8 NIV

Certainly, all the upheaval, wars, and natural calamities which are happening all around us; we cannot deny that something big is happening.  The recent “Frankenstorm” hurricane Sandy brought a huge wake-up call to many, not only those living in the East-cost states.  We cannot blame it on Global warming as some politicians try to make us think.

“When you think everything is some else’s fault, you will suffer a lot.”

~ Dalai Lama

In times of crises people show their best and their worst behavior.  We have seen this over and over through the many disasters like 9-11 and hurricane Katrina, the earthquake in Haiti, and the tsunami in Japan.  Suddenly people ask, where has God been in all this?

By the natural laws, God can only interfere in our lives if we ask for it.

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”

~ Matthew 7:7

Now is the time where we need to restore God-centered leadership back into this country.  It is time we stop the blaming game and truly take responsibility for our action.  Or as President Harry Truman proclaimed: “the Buck Stops Here.”

As one Christian pastor encourages us, it is our moral obligation to speak biblical truth.  At the same time we have to remind ourselves that Christ saved people with love not only with words.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when a wicked man rules, the people groan.”

~ Proverbs 29:2

I read a beautiful account of an aide to Governor Romney who at one public appearance had the deep realization that HE WILL THE NEXT PRESIDENT.  God has been preparing him for the last 60 something years to be the 45th president.

Have you ever wondered why some people rise to the top so quickly, without opposition, persecution or vilification?   Four years ago the country elected a president who pretty much came from the community level of Chicago to be the leader of free world.  He was even given, right away the Nobel Peace Prize.  For what, I have no clue?!  Usually, we are given prizes for accomplishments not for promises.
I have to say with all the work and sacrifice Rev. Sun Myung Moon, who just recently passed away at 93, did world-wide regarding world peace, only a few recognized his outstanding contribution.  Was it because he was a God-loving man who like Jesus spoke the truth and proclaimed a vision of the “Kingdom of Heaven?”

Great leaders always went through a long period of tribulations and rejections first, thinking of Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill, and especially religious leaders like Jesus, Martin Luther and Rev. Moon.

I still don’t know what motivated the American people to vote for Barak Obama.  He had some good promises, but now after four years, very few of them came true.  On top of it he lied about the Libya attack and still blames it on a stupid video.  He accomplished killing Bin Laden, but there are so many small bin landen’s still trained by Al Qaeda that it was foolish to think, that Al Qaeda is dead.

Throughout the presidential campaign the left has pictured Mr. Romney as a bad man and rich man who is ignorant of the average person’s problems.  They have bombarded us with negative ads and false accusations, while President Obama has no real agenda, no new message and certainly not much to show for the past four years.  The only thing coming to my mind is that people who are hurting want to hurt others.  He has concealed his personal records, so we may never know what he experienced in his younger years.  We just have no room here in America for a man who wants to revenge his father’s anger on the American people by allowing socialism and leftist ideas to infiltrate this country.

People who are bitter, revengeful and blame others for their own or others actions will never attract God’s Blessing.

During the 3 debates and other appearances the American people have gotten to know the real Mitt Romney who has a long record of service for this country and can even prove that his dad (George Romney) was a freedom fighter.

It is my sincere hope and prayer that this country will vote for the right person this coming Tuesday, November 6th and that Mr. Romney will win with a landslide.

America Wake Up IV - Catch the Wave of Freedom

Slogans are very powerful tools for advertisement and to get people’s attention.  It is most important right now to wake people up from their pessimistic and gloomy expectations of the future.  Certainly our present situation is not very inspiring.  With the economy in a slump, millions of people out of work, the increasing national debt, rising cost of living, etc., etc. To top it all we have been told many lies in the past few years.  No wonder, many people are hopeless.  But I believe we have been looking for answers in all the wrong places.  Definitely, our current government cannot be trusted with any of the promises we have heard for the past four years.

You may be wondering why I am hopeful in the current circumstances.  According to Billy Graham, we are involved in spiritual warfare.  It becomes more and more clear that we are engaged in a spiritual battle.

We may believe it or not, nevertheless, we are still influenced by spiritual forces.  Until we become aware of it, we are completely absorbed by the spiritual forces by default.  One thing is for sure, catching the wave of freedom requires commitment.  It also necessitates us to check our core values and most of all – our belief in God.  I am talking about a living relationship with the creator of this universe.  He gave us freedom from the beginning, now we have to claim it.  He gave us freedom to make the right choices.

Regarding the election on November 6th, 2012, I am suggesting Mr. Mitt Romney.

Did you know this about Mitt Romney?

If you have an open mind, this is worth reading. Ask "why is this bad" and what kind of person am "I"?

Why Mitt Romney Is Unlikeable!

I just received this from a good friend of mine. I’m not sure who wrote it but I thought I’d share it with my friends. I hope this helps you decide for yourself who can best help our country..

Why Mitt Romney is Unlikable!!

A lot is being said in the media about Mitt Romney not being “likable” or that he doesn’t “relate well” to people. Frankly, we struggled to understand why. So after much research, we have come up with a Top Ten List to explain this “un-likability.”

Top Ten Reasons To Dislike Mitt Romney:

1. Drop-dead, collar-ad handsome with gracious, statesmanlike aura. Looks like every central casting’s #1 choice for Commander-in-Chief.

2. Been married to ONE woman his entire life, and has been faithful to her, including through her bouts with breast cancer and MS.

3. No scandals or skeletons in his closet. (How boring is that?)

4. Can’t speak in a fake, southern, “black preacher voice” when necessary.

5. Highly intelligent. Graduated cum laude from both Harvard Law School and Harvard Business School…and by the way, his academic records are NOT sealed.

6. Doesn’t smoke or drink alcohol, and has never done drugs, not even in the counter-culture age when he went to college. Too square for today’s America?

7. Represents an America of “yesterday”, where people believed in God, went to Church, didn’t screw around, worked hard, and became a SUCCESS!

8. Has a family of five great sons….and none of them have police records or are in drug rehab. But of course, they were raised by a stay-at-home mom, and that “choice” deserves America’s scorn.

9. Oh yes…..he’s a MORMON. We need to be very afraid of that very strange religion that teaches its members to be clean-living, patriotic, fiscally conservative, charitable, self-reliant, and honest.

10. And one more point…..pundits say because of his wealth, he can’t relate to ordinary Americans. I guess that’s because he made that money HIMSELF…..as opposed to marrying it or inheriting it from Dad.

Apparently, he didn’t understand that actually working at a job and earning your own money made you un-relatable to Americans. My goodness, it’s a strange world, isn’t it?
*****************************************************
Personal Information:

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney
He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.
His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan
He was raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they have five children.

Education:
B. A. from Brigham Young University, J. D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Religion:
Mormon – The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background:
After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but never worked as an attorney.
In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the United States.

In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.
Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad’s gubernatorial campaign 1 year.
He was an unpaid intern in his dad’s governor’s office for eight years.
He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years.
He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.
He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts for four years.
He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.
Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more
back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.
And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income….

Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:
He will show us his high school and college transcripts.
He will show us his social security card.
He will show us his law degree.
He will show us his draft notice.
He will show us his medical records.

Mitt Romney’s background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.
You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won’t desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility.

I know he has the ability to turn around this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into. We won’t like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney’s background can do it. But, on the minus side, he never was a “Community Organizer”, never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

There are many accounts of depicting the man of character Mitt Romney is.

Since Mr. Romney’s Christian character does not allow him to toot his own horn about quiet good deeds we have to depend on other’s testimonies and their account for his personal tax declarations.

We know many things about Mr. Romney the media certainly has looked in any nook and granny and has left no closet un-opened.  We cannot say that about the president.  His personal records are sealed.   According to Ann Coulter, Mr. Obama paid 3 million dollars to seal his personal  records.

If you still have any doubts of whom to vote for, listen to this insider from the White House:   I sort of have to tell them that it wasn't a miscalculation or a weird moment. I tell them: I know him, and that was him. That guy on the stage, that's the real Obama.”  He was referring to the first debate in Denver, Colorado.  Without a teleprompter, with a superior attitude of being the president, he ran himself into a trap.  He didn’t realize that Mr. Romney had something to say.  I appreciated most that he referred to in the end that we have a moral obligation to the Constitution which guaranties us the pursuit of Life, Liberty and Happiness for all.  And above all we have an obligation to God who granted us those rights.

I am hoping that in the nearest future we can be assured once again to have “One Nation Under God.”

America Wake Up III – How to Recognize a Good Leader

In my third blog regarding this year’s presidential election, I like to share some thoughts on how to recognize a good leader.  This is my personal compilation from books and websites I have studied.

A good Leader:

* brings out the best in other people, giving praise to others.

* can create a vision of how to make things better and convince others to go along.

* communicates with all his people, giving respect and recognition to all.

* empowers others who are more skilled or knowledgeable in specific areas.

* has a good character based on core values and keeps a high moral standard.

* has a proven track-record of accomplishments.

* has an even temper without getting too emotional and functioning well under high pressure.

* has high self-esteem because of his relationship to the creator, rather than being arrogant or has too much ego.

* has mental toughness that when things get hard; is willing to persevere through difficulties.

* is a lover of people, knowing how to deal with all kinds of personalities and their issues, being personable in relationship with others.

* is accountable to his followers.

* is always willing to learn and grow even admitting mistakes.

* is an outstanding public servant.

* is enthusiastic and fun-loving.

* is focused on the task ahead, being disciplined and organized.

* is modest and only takes credit where credit is due.

* is not afraid to hear the truth.

* is trust-worthy by keeping his promises and being transparent in his actions.

* is willing to find solutions when things go wrong rather than blaming others.

* listens to the followers and understands their needs.

* recognizes good ideas and be adaptable to changes.

* shows courage and conviction to do the right thing and by benefiting others in being an excellent example.

All the things I have heard and witnessed about Mitt Romney, he seems like the man our country needs right now.  Here is a personal account by his wife, Ann Romney:

Ann Romney the Man I know:

Mitt Romney has fun at the annual Al Smith dinner, raising money for the catholic church:

I like to finish my blog by reminding us of the responsibility a sworn-in president pledges to abide by: to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution and our rights for freedom of speech.  This refers to an objection Chris Matthews from MSNBC has voiced recently challenging that it is unconstitutional for Romney to challenge Obama.  Even presidents have to be willing to listen to the truth and are not immune to it.  Here are the words of the Oath of Office which the president has to swear to:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

America Wake Up #II - Vote Your Values

“Lack of understanding of the true nature of happiness, it seems to me, is the principal reason why people inflict sufferings on others. They think either that the other's pain may somehow be a cause of happiness for themselves or that their own happiness is more important, regardless of what pain it may cause. But this is shortsighted. No one truly benefits from causing harm to another sentient being. . . . . In the long run causing others misery and infringing their rights to peace and happiness result in anxiety, fear, and suspicion within oneself.”

I don’t know where to start with this blog.  I am so deeply concerned with this election that I have to continue with last week’s blog.  I feel that our whole country has been pulled into a negative “hypnotic rhythm.”  Napoleon Hill in his latest book “Outwittingthe Devil” dedicated a whole chapter on this principle.  He describes it as a law which takes over when we are drifting along with no particular purpose or goals; without putting our mental faculties to work.  It is the opposite of the law of attraction where everything is done purposefully with dreams and desires pulling us along.

“One’s dominating desires can be crystallized into their physical equivalents through definiteness of purpose backed by definiteness of plans, with the aid of nature’s law of hypnotic rhythm and time!”

~ Napoleon Hill – Outwitting the Devil

When Napoleon Hill first wrote this manuscript in 1938, it was too controversial to be published.  That’s why it has been hidden for the past 70 years.

It seems that the law of hypnotic rhythm can be used either way, whatever thought habits we use, it can guide us into a positive, constructive direction or it can take a negative turn when we follow thoughtless without being responsible for our personal lives.

What are the issues today?  Our country has been pulled into dependency and submission by the liberal agenda that is totally pathetic.  Considering that we have a Constitution which promises us life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, I feel that our choices for that freedom are more and more taken away.  I like to refer to a few points where we are manipulated with fear and threats if we don’t use our mind to think and make better choices.

Mr. Hill describes how he “talked to the devil and how he had him reveal how he manipulates people’s minds through propaganda.”

There are three points which are disturbing me the most:

* Legalizing marriage between same-sex partners

I believe that our creator God made us in His image as men and women. That means that he wanted us to get along and create harmonious families where children can experience the love of both parents: a father and a mother, a male and a female.   We all know that it takes the two to create a baby.  It also takes the two to raise the child to become a healthy and emotional mature adult.

I suggest that we continue to promote the marriage act as between one man and one woman.  You can read yourself about the legal consequences of these laws enforced in Canada. Find below the video which expresses best my point of view on this issue.

* Liberal Agenda Education Takeover

Along the same line of influence is the change in our education system.  The liberal agenda proposes total focus on external issues (scientific, mechanical) without regards to spiritual and consequential matters.  Man was created as a spiritual being with a mind to exercise freedom and responsibility.  Our new education system teaches us that it is o.k. to take hand-outs (entitlement), equality in accomplishments without any incentive for those who want to excel and think “out-of-the-box.”  Success and personal accomplishment is looked down upon; everybody is “equal” and gets equal rewards. Without challenges and competition we stifle creativity and therefore “the pursuit of happiness” as promised in the Constitution.

To me big government reminds me of East-Germany where I grew up for the first 12 years of my life.  Even though I was very young I felt the uneasiness among people; you couldn’t speak your mind without watching over your shoulder.

Just recently I was introduced to a man named Frederick Douglass (1818-1895).  He was born a slave, taught himself to read and write, and eventually became a free man, and even a wealthy man.  He was a defender of liberty, adviser to presidents and is considered by many the Father of the emancipation movement.  He was a prominent abolitionist, author and orator; one of the most well-known African-Americans of the 19th century. He lived by self-empowering values which are still valuable today:

à Respect for the Constitution (he believed in the Constitution as a document which was created the same for all people: “We the people …(that included everybody, men, women, blacks and natives, and everybody else)

à Respect for Life – God gave us life and a purpose.

à Belief in Limited Government – he didn’t belief in hand-outs and welfare.

à Belief in personal responsibility – work gives us dignity and accomplishment.

It felt like a breath of fresh air when I listened to the presenter, K. Carl Smith who is determined to reach the African-American community and those who are undecided at this time.  He encouraged us to vote our values, rather than bigger about the issues.

I have no doubt that this is a crucial election.  I have felt for years that Americans have become too secular.  With all the big mega churches, and hundreds of different denominations, it seems that the churches have lost power.  They are too much fighting among themselves regarding memberships and other external issues rather than really addressing the moral problems and are not taking a stand toward the situation in the country.  I believe that it is time for the god-fearing people to rally together and take a stand and come out on November 6th to vote.

Here is a video which expresses best my point of view:

Wake Up America

With the beginning of October, we only have one month left until election.  I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican.  I am a concerned American who doesn’t want to be part of the silent majority any longer.

"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing."

~ Edmund Burke (1729-1797), Irish Statesman and Author

Many of us by now are fed up with TV ads and other propaganda.  None-the-less, it is our civic duty to be informed about the issues at hand regarding the future of our country.  I personally had a wake-up call when my husband and I went to see the movie “2016 – Obama’s America.”

Being born in a socialistic country, East-Germany was called the "Deutsche Democratische Republik (DDR)" until 1990, the movie made my stomach turn up-side down.  It all looked like déjà-view.  How can Americans be so naïve I asked myself that they don’t see the writing on the wall?  When Barack Obama was elected four years ago he promised change.  Many people bought it because they thought that change is what we need.  He brought us change and if he is elected again, he will take us down the road he has disguised under all kinds of promises until now.

Let me give you a few points regarding his “changes:”

* His campaign slogan “Forward” has long ties to Marxism, Socialism and was a favored tune for the Hitler Youth.

* He is watching the polls and takes few risks during this campaign, not having any new solutions: http://www.teapartypatriots.org/2012/10/president-obamas-audacity-free-campaign/

* He gives free phones to Ohioans:
http://www.freegovernmentcellphones.net/faq/obama-phone

* Under his leadership the national debt increased by 5 Trillions to a total of 16 Trillions: http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/1601576978821580_651649.html

* He has either broken or never fulfilled many of his promises from four years ago:
http://www.statesmanjournal.com/article/20121001/OPINION/310010042/President-Obama-incompetent-insincere

* He apologizes for our freedom:

* Economy is in worse circumstances than 4 years ago http://finance.fortune.cnn.com/2012/09/07/worse-off-in-2011/

* He contributes to poverty by giving handouts http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/22/us-poverty-level-1960s_n_1692744.html

* He lied about Al-Quaeda when death toll of Americans reaches 2,000

* He braged about un-employment rate, pointing out that European countries have a higher rate of un-employment:

I realize that the above statements are very strongly influenced by my personal opinion.  I have faith in my fellow men that they can free themselves from the “hypnotic rhythm” of the liberal media and exercise their God-given freedom in making good choices for the future of our country; that we can have a “Nation Under God” where we can pursue life, liberty, and happiness as it is promised in our Declaration of Independence.

I only mentioned some of the issues which came to my attention.  Therefore, I like to encourage all of us to continue to educate ourselves about the campaign issues.

And I want to persuade everybody to go vote this November 6th.
