America Wake Up #II - Vote Your Values

“Lack of understanding of the true nature of happiness, it seems to me, is the principal reason why people inflict sufferings on others. They think either that the other's pain may somehow be a cause of happiness for themselves or that their own happiness is more important, regardless of what pain it may cause. But this is shortsighted. No one truly benefits from causing harm to another sentient being. . . . . In the long run causing others misery and infringing their rights to peace and happiness result in anxiety, fear, and suspicion within oneself.”

I don’t know where to start with this blog.  I am so deeply concerned with this election that I have to continue with last week’s blog.  I feel that our whole country has been pulled into a negative “hypnotic rhythm.”  Napoleon Hill in his latest book “Outwittingthe Devil” dedicated a whole chapter on this principle.  He describes it as a law which takes over when we are drifting along with no particular purpose or goals; without putting our mental faculties to work.  It is the opposite of the law of attraction where everything is done purposefully with dreams and desires pulling us along.

“One’s dominating desires can be crystallized into their physical equivalents through definiteness of purpose backed by definiteness of plans, with the aid of nature’s law of hypnotic rhythm and time!”

~ Napoleon Hill – Outwitting the Devil

When Napoleon Hill first wrote this manuscript in 1938, it was too controversial to be published.  That’s why it has been hidden for the past 70 years.

It seems that the law of hypnotic rhythm can be used either way, whatever thought habits we use, it can guide us into a positive, constructive direction or it can take a negative turn when we follow thoughtless without being responsible for our personal lives.

What are the issues today?  Our country has been pulled into dependency and submission by the liberal agenda that is totally pathetic.  Considering that we have a Constitution which promises us life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, I feel that our choices for that freedom are more and more taken away.  I like to refer to a few points where we are manipulated with fear and threats if we don’t use our mind to think and make better choices.

Mr. Hill describes how he “talked to the devil and how he had him reveal how he manipulates people’s minds through propaganda.”

There are three points which are disturbing me the most:

* Legalizing marriage between same-sex partners

I believe that our creator God made us in His image as men and women. That means that he wanted us to get along and create harmonious families where children can experience the love of both parents: a father and a mother, a male and a female.   We all know that it takes the two to create a baby.  It also takes the two to raise the child to become a healthy and emotional mature adult.

I suggest that we continue to promote the marriage act as between one man and one woman.  You can read yourself about the legal consequences of these laws enforced in Canada. Find below the video which expresses best my point of view on this issue.

* Liberal Agenda Education Takeover

Along the same line of influence is the change in our education system.  The liberal agenda proposes total focus on external issues (scientific, mechanical) without regards to spiritual and consequential matters.  Man was created as a spiritual being with a mind to exercise freedom and responsibility.  Our new education system teaches us that it is o.k. to take hand-outs (entitlement), equality in accomplishments without any incentive for those who want to excel and think “out-of-the-box.”  Success and personal accomplishment is looked down upon; everybody is “equal” and gets equal rewards. Without challenges and competition we stifle creativity and therefore “the pursuit of happiness” as promised in the Constitution.

To me big government reminds me of East-Germany where I grew up for the first 12 years of my life.  Even though I was very young I felt the uneasiness among people; you couldn’t speak your mind without watching over your shoulder.

Just recently I was introduced to a man named Frederick Douglass (1818-1895).  He was born a slave, taught himself to read and write, and eventually became a free man, and even a wealthy man.  He was a defender of liberty, adviser to presidents and is considered by many the Father of the emancipation movement.  He was a prominent abolitionist, author and orator; one of the most well-known African-Americans of the 19th century. He lived by self-empowering values which are still valuable today:

à Respect for the Constitution (he believed in the Constitution as a document which was created the same for all people: “We the people …(that included everybody, men, women, blacks and natives, and everybody else)

à Respect for Life – God gave us life and a purpose.

à Belief in Limited Government – he didn’t belief in hand-outs and welfare.

à Belief in personal responsibility – work gives us dignity and accomplishment.

It felt like a breath of fresh air when I listened to the presenter, K. Carl Smith who is determined to reach the African-American community and those who are undecided at this time.  He encouraged us to vote our values, rather than bigger about the issues.

I have no doubt that this is a crucial election.  I have felt for years that Americans have become too secular.  With all the big mega churches, and hundreds of different denominations, it seems that the churches have lost power.  They are too much fighting among themselves regarding memberships and other external issues rather than really addressing the moral problems and are not taking a stand toward the situation in the country.  I believe that it is time for the god-fearing people to rally together and take a stand and come out on November 6th to vote.

Here is a video which expresses best my point of view:
