How Do You Worship?

My husband and I have been reading a book called EVERY DAY GOD by David and Takeko Hose. The whole book is written based on inspiration from and a personal conversation with God. In one of the chapters Beyond the Taxicab, David and Takeko, God tells them that at the dawn of history, men lost touch with their true identity, which is spiritual intelligence.
Throughout history men have been searching for their true purpose, their origin and their destiny. Religions have played the role of the taxicab to drive us closer to our destinations.
We are living now in an age where we move from group identity into an age of individual being. Mankind as a whole is at the threshold of a profound evolutionary step.

I was reading an article by Leonard Pitts, Jr. , in the Cincinnati Enquirer Editorial, asking: Are we losing our religion, or is religion losing us? Mr. Pitts, who is a Pulitzer winning columnist for the Miami Herald, discusses why we are losing our religions. He mentions an ARIS, American Religious Identification Survey, which breaks down how religions are affecting our society.

The fact is that 70% of Americans still believe in a personal God, about 12% are atheist or don't acknowledge God, and the rest believe in some higher power.

From a connection to a religion we find these statistics: 76% Christians (10% down from 1990), 4% other religions, 15 % no religions and 5% undecided or didn't want to say.

Anytime we look at statistics like these and wonder what is the world coming to? Or like Mr. Pitts, go back to the fact that God is still there and as the Hoses have discovered, God is alive and wants to have a personal relationship with us. Let's get out of the taxicab and pray like crazy, listen to the very small voice inside of us and discover that the God we have been worshiping in the churches, temples or synagogues is actually living inside of us. He wants to have a close relationship with us, love us, and raise us up to our full potential.

There is nothing wrong with finding guidance and community in a religious group. I enjoy very much my weekly gatherings at my church. I just like to open you up to a larger perspective where God can talk to us at any time and anywhere. It's time to get out of the taxicab and start walking and discover that there is another world (many different perceptions and many different answers) out there.

Plant Sterols

One of the speakers at the TEAM MonaVie Winter Leadership convention was Dr. Alexander Schauss. Among his reputation as a writer and scientist is his discovery of the acai berry which he has researched for more than 15 years. He is also the Senior Director, Natural and Medicinal Products Research, AIBMR Life Sciences, Inc.

At the convention Dr. Schauss explained that:
“The acai fruit grows biannually in only three species of palm trees. This fruit is remarkably rich in a very large range of macronutrients, micronutrients, and trace elements. It has a broad range of essential amino acids, carbohydrates, fatty acids, and vitamins and minerals. So rich in nutrients is the acai fruit that it is possible someone could survive on it alone for quite a period of time without showing signs of malnutrition.”
He also talked about the freeze-drying processing of the freshly harvested acai berry. This process is more expensive but it conserves the nutrients and especially keeps the antioxidants stable.
After the freeze-dried acai powder is reconstituted with the juices of the other 18 fruits (there is no water added), it creates the very thick juice with the "sludge on top." The sludge is from the omega 3 fatty acid content of the berry and has similar value like olive oil.
Through all his technical explanations, Dr. Schauss showed his pride and confidence in the MonaVie products.

In his recent research he focused on the plant sterols in Acai. As you can see in the video, plant sterols are naturally found in some plants and fruits and act in the body as a neutralizer for cholesterol.

Plant Sterols Defined
Plant sterols, sometimes called Phytosterol, are naturally found in some vegetable oils, nuts, grain products, fruits and vegetables. Natural plant sterols occur in many foods, but at low levels, so it would be very challenging to get enough plant sterols for effective cholesterol reduction through whole foods alone. It would take about 100 pounds of fruits, vegetables or nuts to get 2 grams of natural plant sterols. Because of this, plant sterols have been added to common foods like vegetable oil spreads (margarine), mayonnaise, dairy-based drinks, orange juice and snack bars. Foods containing at least 0.4 grams per serving of plant sterols eaten twice a day with meals for a daily total intake of at least 0.8 grams, as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease.

Plant sterols in some foods:

Avocados, 1 small 0.13 grams

Corn Oil, 1 tablespoon 0.13 grams

Sunflower Seeds, 1/4 cup 0.19 grams

Oat Bar with plant sterols, 1 bar 0.4 grams

Orange Juice with plant sterols 1.0 gram

Vegetable oil spread with plant sterols, 1 tablespoon 1.0 gram

"A daily serving of MonaVie Pulse gives you 0.8 grams per day of plant sterols, delivering the benefits you need to potentially impact the health of your heart," says Vice President of Product Management, Jeff Graham.

FDA authorizes new coronary heart disease health claim for plant sterols and plant stanol ester.

Did you know consuming 4 grams of trans fat per day will significantly increase your risk of cardiovascular disease? One serving of French fries has 5 grams of trans fat. (Health-coach training) So, instead of your fries next lunch have a glass of MonaVie Pulse. To learn more about the MonaVie drinks or the business behind this amazing fruit, please visit:

A Stimulus Package of a Different Kind

This past weekend the TEAM MonaVie held it's National Winter Leadership Seminar in St. Louis, Missouri. There were about 15,000 gathered at the Edward Jones Dome for the three-day period. Every TEAM meeting was well organized and everyone was well-mannered. Every session started with a prayer and the pledge of allegiance.

The presence of the TEAM was well noticed with WELCOME signs at the airport, the different hotels and even some restaurants.

The content of the seminar is hard to capture in any way with words.
What I took away is this: NO HAND-OUTS BUT HAND-UPS. In the spirit of: "give somebody a fish you feed him for a day, but teach him how to fish you give him a skill for a lifetime."
The TEAM provides an opportunity and a proven system for not only a business but for a life style based on principles.
Since the TEAM's joining with the MonaVie company under Dallin Larsen one year ago, the goals of being HEALTHY, WEALTHY AND WISE have taking on a new meaning.
Just in time, as a true alternative to all the economic upheaval, we offer those who want to take responsibility for their future hope and encouragement. MonaVie as a company is standing out in the networking industry, having reached within the first three years a cumulative sales volume of over 1 Billion dollars. The cooperation between TEAM and MonaVie is a real win-win solution.

Here are a few points of interest to that solution:

* Proper thinking is fundamental for success.

* Principles are more important than products or people.

* You have always choices in every situation.

* Focus on the things you have control over (you can't change the weather or the economy).

* Control media input (only allow uplifting, inspiring and motivating reading and viewing).

* Keep positive environment (we absorb with all five senses).

* Commit to a purpose.

* Focus on the dream and create a clear vision for your goal.

* Expect good things to happen.

* Serve others.

* Believe in yourself.

This video is a small insight in why we are so exited about the MonaVie biz:

What The Mind of Man Can Conceive

"What the mind of man can conceive and believe, It can achieve."
-- Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill, one of the earliest success writers, lived from October 25, 1883 to November 8, 1970. He captured the essence of all success which is the power of belief. He lived through two world wars, depression and certainly many personal challenges. I read his "Think and Grow Rich," "Keys to Positive Thinking" and "You Can Work Your Own Miracles." Long before the "The Secret" came out or anybody spoke about the "law of attraction" Dr. Hill demonstrated in his own life a deep faith in God.

He accepted an assignment from Andrew Carnegie to interview and observe hundreds of successful business men, inventors and clergy of his time. Based on his own research and experiences he came to the conclusion that success is neither luck or many talents but rather belief in oneself and others and hard work. The principles he talks about in his books and lectures are eternal principles and can be applied by anybody who wants to live an extra-ordinary life.

On the website of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, you can find the seventeen principles his teachings are based on, the first one is to have a definiteness of purpose.

The best thing anybody can do during these trying times is to learn and to expand their mind and look up to those who left a legacy of greatness so they can keep a positive mind and a vision beyond their everyday reality.

This is why I love the TEAM because it is made up of men and women who are not satisfied with the status quo. But they are not complaining about it but rather grow and work together to do something about it.

The Coming Economic Meltdown

Yeah, you read that right "the coming" economic meltdown. Oh, you thought it was already here? Think again. In a recent interview Peter Schiff, president of Euro Pacific Capital, scoffs at the notion the economic decline is starting to level off and concedes no government action means a "terrible" recession. But the path of increased government intervention will lead to "unmitigated disaster," says Schiff, who gained notoriety in 2007-08 for his prediction of the housing bubble burst and decline of U.S. Stocks.
The problem, he says, is the government is trying to perpetuate a "phony economy" based on borrowing and spending. With the U.S. Consumer tapped out, the government is "now taking on the mantle" of consumer of last resort, he continues, predicting the bond bubble will soon burst - if it hasn't already - ultimately leading to a collapse of the dollar and an "inflationary depression worse than anything any of us have ever seen."
God has canceled the world’s credit cards. The good news is that in the coming months and next few years, the world will be greatly compelled to discover that which is truly valuable, good and real. The economy is only one small aspect of this global change. We are about to experience a huge awakening to the reality and efficacy of God’s universal principles of living. We must first understand how we arrived at this point. Both genetic science and the Bible now agree that modern humanity began from a single male and female ancestor.
God had intended, as we see in the Biblical narrative, to establish a common identity and universal heritage of one family under God. All of humanity, as true brothers and sisters, were to enjoy the rights and privileges bequeathed to them from a benevolent God. Yet, to this day, we have been totally ignorant of this common heritage. Those original ancestors left behind no record, oral traditions, heritage, spiritual or moral code. Instead, the human history that ensued has been pock-marked by separate cultures each centered upon a unique cultural myth of origin. In every corner of the earth, people devised their own separate identities that were reflective of the unique indigenous terrains and climates in which they emerged.
However, they all displayed one common characteristic: each cultural myth, from Aztec to Navaho to Germanic, proclaimed their people to be the central people in a world full of disconnected “others.” This was a formula for endless rivalry, conflict, war and atrocity as each group vied for territory and resources to preserve their separate identities and group interests. It was through spiritual revelation that God was able to initially communicate to humanity about their plight. Individuals became cognizant, via spiritual channels, of a common human origin that transcended the existing cultural myths. Those revelations were then formulated into an oral tradition and became the foundation of the Hebrew myth of paradise lost recorded in the Book of Genesis.
The Genesis garden narrative reveals additional points about our common origin. Not only do we come from original parents and are to be one family under God, but humanity’s ignorance of this common origin was due to a broken sacred vow and covenant between God and our first ancestors.
We lost our connection to God and those universal principles that have always guided heaven and earth. The bigger picture is that the age of restorative payments for the sins of the past is over, however, and as a result of that, neither are the mistakes of the present going to be deferred to tomorrow’s generations, as has always been the case. America and the world must make a new start around understanding these universal parameters of living. We all must understand the reason why those parameters have at this time become so pronounced and are so suddenly able to manifest their sovereignty. In this age, a true definition of freedom must be proclaimed.
Freedom is not “doing what I please.” True freedom requires two elements: the presence of God and the life of living for others. As Jefferson declared so many years ago, “freedom is a gift of God.”
Secondly, morality between men and women must be restored. A new code of sexual ethics must be promoted and exemplified. Abstinence before marriage and fidelity within marriage between a man and a woman will be the essential condition for God’s blessing and good fortune.
Thirdly, religious rivalry must pass away. It will only happen when all faiths can place priority upon a new ethos. That ethos stands as God’s ultimate aspiration for creating the universe.
God is the loving parent of all humanity and seeks to fulfill the ideal of love with us all. He suffers as a result of those murdered, abused or oppressed in His name. A new economy will emerge upon the efforts of men and women of true freedom, ethics and integrity. True economy is that which develops “ex nihilo” from the effort of those duly empowered as co-creators by the blessing of God. An economy propped up by bailouts, hand-outs, recovery packages, welfare benefits, pensions, retirement benefits, and a bankrupt social security provided by an all pervasive State is the Baal worship of our age.

Grapes

Grapes, both red and green grape are pretty much available all year around in our supermarkets. They make a nice addition to any platter or just a healthful snack. Because of their sweetness they are probably the most eaten fruits along with apples and bananas. Scientists have long discovered many health benefits for grapes since they especially high in antioxidants. Many doctors believe that regular consumption of grapes helps in preventing various diseases. Grapes are also believed to have anti-ageing properties and helps in reducing weight too. In fact red wine seems to offer many health benefits.

Benefits of Grapes
1. Grapes have many health benefits, but should be eaten in moderation since they have a high sugar content!
2. Both red and black grapes contain powerful antioxidants and resveratrol. They help prevent both the narrowing and hardening of the arteries!
3. Grapes are good source of vitamins A and C, and you'll also find vitamin B6 and folate in these fruits!
4. Minerals like potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron, and selenium, as well as trace amounts of copper, manganese, and zinc are also present in grapes. You also get some fiber and protein from grapes!
5. Grapes are considered a good blood and body builder.
6. They are quick source of energy (because of high sugar content).
7. They are easily assimilated and called the "nectar of the gods." It is indicated in cases of constipation, gout, rheumatism, skin and liver disorders.
8. Grapes are highly alkaline and can be used to decrease the acidity of the uric acid which can be beneficial to the kidneys.
9. Some studies have shown that grape juice, red wine and raisin tea can help as antivirals against the poliovirus and herpes simples virus.
10. Grapes can also be beneficial in reducing platelet clumping and harmful blood clots therefore benefiting the heart.
11. They contain high levels of caffeic acid and the hight content of bioflavinoids, very strong cancer fighting substances.
12. Last but not least, they benefit the anti-aging process and possibly the risk of macular degeneration.

Raise Your Vibrations, Change Your Attitude

"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them."
Albert Einstein

When I read this book years ago, nobody was talking yet about the law of attraction. Ever since the movie "The Secret" came out it is like a buzz word. Even the makers of the movie, people like Bob Proctor, Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale, etc. admit that there is more to the law of attraction than like attracts like.

Lynn Grabhorn, in her book: Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting, explains in a humorous and entertaining way how "We create by feeling, not by thought!"

The way we think......causes the way we feel. . ....and the way we feel. . ....causes the way we vibrate...and the way we vibrate. . ....IS HOW WE ATTRACT!!

The Law of Attraction:
The four steps of deliberate creation:
1. Identify what you don’t want
2. From that, identify what you do want
3. Get into the feeling place of your want
4. Intent – and allow – it to happen

The Secret Law of Attraction and Your Dream Life:

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. Being all energy it makes sense to learn about vibration and how we can change our emotions (energy in motion). Gratitude raises our vibrations, so does appreciation and edification (complimenting and speaking positive) and most importantly devotion to God. The reason we go to church is to be inspired which also raises our vibes.

"If you concentrate on finding whatever is good in every situation, you will discover that your life will suddenly be filled with gratitude, a feeling that nurtures the soul."
Rabbi Harold Kushner

The Law of Vibration is the foundation for the Law of Attraction. Other natural laws exist right alongside and are known as law magnetism, cohesion, heat, electricity, and gravity.

After reading Lynn's book I feel motivated to bring myself into that state of feeling empowered, passioned, stirred up and wonderful all the time. Life is not only waiting, our true, authentic self is waiting.

We are living now in a time where God's providence has evolved to the point where we can be truly free from all past restraints of religions, philosophies or beliefs. Rather than seeing everything separate, we become aware that it is the unity between science and religions, the thoughts and the feelings, the left and the right side of our brain have to be synchronized. With this new found trust in our own powers (the core essence which is our God essence) we can truly become part of the New World as responsible citizens and can find solutions to the problems we are faced today.

In the New Biology, Dr. Bruce Lipton explains, that we are not just victims to our genes and heritage but rather that our genes adapt to our beliefs. By changing our perceptions we can control our biology. By changing our vibrations and our beliefs we can attract whatever we want, we are not dependant on scientists, politicians, economists, or my boss. We are in charged of our life and can create it the way we imagine it.
